Easy Vegan Waffle Recipe (also GF & DF)

Happy Tuesday!

This morning Vienna and I went live on Instagram and made these waffles and wanted to share the recipe here for you to make at home.

Since Vienna is GF and I am DF, we made these modifications ourselves and love how it turned out!! Feel free to make these normally or use our substitutions 😉

You will need:

  • 2 cups all purpose (or GF) flour
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp himalayan pink salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Gently whisk these together in a bowl, then add:

  • 2 flax eggs. I used Bob’s Red Mill Egg Replacer mix which is vegan and gluten free. If you aren’t vegan, use regular eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted vegan butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Once everything is mixed together nicely you are ready to turn on your waffle maker and add this in! I ended up added a splash more of almond milk to improve the consistency for pouring.

Vienna and I use the one cup measuring cup and pour it into the center then it flattens out nicely 🙂
